In last week's newsletter, I mentioned I was a little nervous about how my wife was going to react to my $2,000 Behind Barz Low Pro purchase. She noticed it the next day and asked me if it was fraud. Fortunately for me, she has made some sizable furniture purchases recently and couldn't give me too much grief. She did ask if the chastity belt is made out of gold lol (it's not).

Earlier this month, I loaded ChasteGPT's 20,000th chastity device review into our database. I ingest content from all across the internet, manually reviewing, tagging and approving any content that is loaded into the ChasteGPT database.

To back up a bit, ChasteGPT was founded on June 19, 2025 and I have probably spent at least an hour working on the site nearly every day since that date. My original motivation for starting the site was twofold:

1.) My initial idea was to build a ChatGPT-style chatbot that is an expert in chastity (hence the name ChasteGPT). At my day job, the company I work for hosts a chat bot in another industry and I wanted to see if I was capable of building one on my own.

I wanted to target an industry that would be relatively safe from OpenAI and Anthropic. One of my other interests is long distance running, but I figured it would be difficult to stay ahead of the frontier models in this area. I often ask Claude for running advice and it is pretty serviceable despite being a general model. It would have been very difficult for me to build a better-performing chat experience in this area as a one-man "garage band developer."

I figured chastity is one of the last areas these models would focus on, and given my near obsession with chastity, it was an obvious choice.

The funny thing is, through my day job, I saw how difficult it is to support a chat bot product. People can visit your website and type literally anything into the chat input. Your product needs to be able to support a vast surface area...it needs to be prepared to answer things that you probably haven't even thought about, and capable of providing an intelligent response in those cases. You don't know what kinds of questions will be asked, and you want to be sure that your bot will be prepared in all cases. That's very challenging to do well, even with today's AI advancements.

Several months in, I realized I was still a long ways away from having a chat bot product I'd feel comfortable launching. What I realized though is that the data I had been using to train the chat model could easily be repurposed through other tools, which led to Product Ratings, Brand Ratings and the other tools you see on the site.

I'm not sure I'll ever feel confident enough to publicly release the chat bot. And though I've stopped developing it, a crude version of the chat bot does exist and I sometimes use it as a quick way to find info in the database.

2.) The second reason I wanted to build ChasteGPT is that chastity has made such a large impact in my marriage, and life in general, and I wanted to provide a trustworthy, educational resource for others who are looking to learn more. So much of the chastity content on the internet is either porn, fantasy, or junk, and I hope ChasteGPT can be a useful alternative.

20,000 chastity reviews is a lot , yet I feel I have only scratched the first. Onward!​
